Technical Sgt. Jonathan Merced, 314th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, performs an operational check on the liquid oxygen shut off valve of a C-130 April 30th. Tech. Sgt. Merced earned the Innovative Development through Employee Awareness Award, for saving the Air Force thousands of dollars by trouble shooting a oxygen shut off valve for internal leaking prior to replacing the LOX converter.
