Col. Rowayne Schatz Jr., took command of the 314th Airlift Wing during a ceremony here Wednesday. Col. Schatz comes to Little Rock Air Force Base after most recently serving as the U.S. Air Force Transportation Command deputy director of operations and plans at Scott AFB, Ill.

Jeff Melton, Brig. Gen. Kip Self, 314th Airlift Wing former commander, Aysegul King and Col. Scott Lockard, 314th Mission Support Group commander, unveil the new Hangar 1080 Services sign May 16. Hangar 1080 takes the place of JR Rockers. The Props golf Pro shop and the WiFi Zone are located inside. Summer hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Fridays from 7 a.m. to midnight.
