Little Rock Air Force Base held a ceremony May 14 to unveil a memorial to honor fallen Airmen from the base. The memorial was dedicated to both Staff Sgt. Dustin Peters and Staff Sgt. John Self who both made the ultimate sacrifice to their country.

Airman Jessica Munoz, 189th Maintenance Squadron aircraft engine mechanic, earned the title of Combat Airlifter of the Week for her duty performance as a aircraft engine mechanic, for volunteering to serve as a security forces augmentee and for her dedication to self-improvement through education.

Col. Rudy Byrne, 314th Operations Group commander, passed the 714th Training Squadron guidon to Lt. Col. Philip Everitte, 714th Training Squadron commander, during the 714th Training Squadron's change of command ceremony held May 16 in hangar 276. Colonel Everitte was previously director of operations for the 62nd Airlift Squadron.
