Combat Airlifter
of the Week

Brig. Gen. Rowayne A. Schatz, Jr., 314th Airlift Wing commander, presents Sergeant Wiencek with the commander’s coin for his selection as the Combat Airlifter of the Week. Sergeant Wiencek taught 1,500 hours of instruction leading to the graduation of 114 crew chiefs in a 12-month period. Sergeant Wiencek also played a key role in the Air Education and Training Command Inspector General inspection, leading to an overall “Excellent” rating with zero discrepancies in the ancilliary training program.
