Combat Airlifter
of the Week

Col. James Johnson, 19th Airlift Wing vice commander, presents Mr. Arturo Armas, Air Force Engineering and Technical Services, with a coin for his selection as the Combat Airlifter of the Week. Mr. Armas was selected for his involvement in over 300 technical assists and a cost avoidance of more than $530,000 during the last fiscal year. Additionally, he coordinated a demodification of an environment test system as well as educating, training, and advising Air Force personnel on the system removal procedures and the time and cost required to complete the demodification process.
