Garage gurus who auto-know

BAH recertification process still underway
In March 2014, the Air Force announced the basic allowance for housing recertification process. The Air Force-wide initiative was established to allow the Air Force to validate Airmen’s BAH entitlements and ensure every dollar spent on BAH is auditable.

Little Rock Air Force Base turns 59
Little Rock Air Force Base celebrated its 59th Anniversary on Oct. 9. Since the inception of the base, in 1955, partnership has been part of its foundation, and the Team Little Rock partnership would not have been possible without the community 59 years ago.

Retreat: The story behind the salute
Every duty day at Little Rock Air Force Base ends with a loud bugle call heard across the installation through the “Giant Voice” speaker system. At this time, people who are outside stop what they are doing and face the flag or music. Vehicles come to a halt, and salutes are rendered by all military service members in uniform.
