Stay cool in the base pool

The base pool is finally open after months of renovations. A new liner was installed in both the kiddie pool and the main pool along with new pumps. The pool is open Tuesday through Sunday from noon to 7 p.m. Free lap swimming is also available Wednesday and Friday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. The cost of a day pass is $3. A season pass for single Airmen is $75 and for families it is $125. There is a water slide and also a diving board. Lifeguards are on duty to ensure that Team Little Rock members have a safe place to enjoy the summer days. New lockers were also installed to keep belongings safe and dry while members enjoy the pool or soak up the sun in a lounge chair. ( U.S. Air Force photos by Senior Airman Scott Poe)

She sat down at her desk and began flipping through the pages of the Combat Airlifter while enjoying her cup of coffee. All of a sudden, she saw a familiar face.
